Madness

No great genius has ever existed without some touch of madness. - Aristotle

March Madness is here.... and there.... and everywhere! Aedan made a bracket so GO PURDUE!!! We are not necessarily Purdue fans but that is who he has going all the way.
It has been 5 years since Neal proposed to me and at that time, I really had no idea of the extent of his sport fanaticism. I didn't even know what March Madness was and if I did, I most likely didn't bother letting that stick in my mind as I am not a big fan of watching sports. I like playing sports, I'm not really good, but I like it. But for some reason, sitting and watching on tv just doesn't get me excited. Now going to a game is kind of fun because there is a lot more entertainment for all the senses. Well, I don't know what my hubby would have to say but I feel I have made some headway in my general sporting knowledge. Not a whole lot, but some. I find if I can manage to remember one or two key facts or players, only every so often, I can get him to be impressed with me.
I will have to work on my enthusiasm a bit so when Aedan gets old enough to participate in sports, I can be the ultimate cool mom. Either that or I can just bring cool snacks for the kids.
And to show I'm a good sport, here is a little game for you to play during commercial breaks...

Match the basketball person to the quote:
1) I knew I was dog meat. Luckily, I'm the high-priced dog meat that everybody wants. I'm the good-quality dog meat. I'm the Alpo of the NBA.
2)My sister's expecting a baby, and I don't know if I'm going to be an uncle or an aunt."
3)When Micheal Jordan scored 69 points, I knew I'd always remember it as the night me and Micheal combined for 70 points
4)Practice? I mean, listen, we're talking about practice. Not a game. Not a game. Not a game. We're talking about practice. Not a game. Not the game. Not the game. We're talkin about practice, man. We're talkin about practice. We're taklin about practice, man. What are we talkin about? Practice. We're talkin about practice, man.
5)There are really only two plays: Romeo and Juliet, and put the darn ball in the basket.
6)Left hand, right hand, it doesn't matter. I'm amphibious.
