As I was reading the April 2008 Reader's Digest the other day, I came across a snippet preview into this book, Not Quite What I Was Planning, where the editors solicited six-word autobiographies on their website and made a book of all the submissions. They listed a few of the famous author entries:
Brought it to a boil, often. - Mario Batali (chef)
Couldn't cope, so I wrote songs. - Aimee Man (singer/songwriter)
Well, I thought it was funny. - Stephen Colbert, (actor & host of The Colbert Report)
Revenge is living well, without you. - Joyce Carol Oates (author)
Yes, you can edit this biography. - Jimmy Wales (founder of Wikipedia)
I wonder what my six word bio would be?
- Loved food a little too much
- Wore yellow high heels with bows
- Stubbed pinkie toe too many times
- Couldn't bake without burning a few
- Would not eat things that swam
- Pinched every penny. Spent every dollar.
- Didn't know food could do that
- Has one awesome kid and husband!
You are so creative! Here is mine (for now anyway): Used any excuse to hold hands.
