"Fans never fall asleep at our games, because they're afraid they might get hit by a pass." - George Raveling

Neal is a long-time college basketball season ticket holder. He almost didn't get them this year because the team is not what it used to be. Our friend who sits next to Neal couldn't make it to the game so he gave us his ticket and we worked it out to go as a family.

Turns out that when you get season tickets for as long as Neal does you get closer and closer to the game. We had front row bleacher seats that were down on the court, just behind the home team seats.

Where's the tubas? They were this close!

We won the game but even I noticed that it wasn't as exciting as it once was, back in our Final Four glory days. And that is really saying something if I notice anything about sports. There were so many empty seats. Aedan really liked the cheerleaders go figure. At one point he even said, "No basketball, just more dancing!"

Early on Aedan decided he was scared of all the loud noises so he wanted to go up and out to get away from it all. He survived and when they caught us on camera and put us up on the big screen (I'm not quick enough with the camera for that) he seemed to think things were cool again.

I'm just glad they didn't catch us doing this...
