Happy Birthday to nephew/cousin R! One year older, and, well, wiser too! What a silly and smart kid he is! Neal was very close to this one from the very start – in fact, I think the first time I met R was when he was a baby and Neal brought him to a church institute class and used him as bait for all the single ladies… I mean, who can resist a single guy holding a cherub in a church class? Really. Well, that wasn’t exactly the selling point for me in our relationship but it was fun to see Neal with R and I could tell he loved him as if he were his own and that is still true today. We all love you R!
I'm guessing Neal will say that he didn't use Richard for bait and he may be right. But it sure seemed like it...
