Lily started smiling at 3 days old, no joke. The last day in the hospital she really threw me off guard when she made eye contact and broke into a little grin. I can tell the difference between unintentional smiles and intended ones and she most definitely smiles with a purpose about 90% of the time. It was just weird to see a newborn smile at me.
Unfortunately I was unsuccessful at capturing it on camera until two weeks ago so you are just going to have to believe me. This little baby has been SO much fun for me and when I think about it I think that is in part due to the fact that she has been so responsive from the start and that little bit of interaction sure makes my day!
So fun! And, your costumes were so cute too! Oh, and by the way, thank you for posting those pics of all of us when we dressed up as the Alice in Wonderland gang! I had totally forgotten about that! Too fun!
