Aside from the usual things I find myself saying to Aedan - “eat your food,” “don’t pick that up,” etc. – I recently found myself saying these little oddities:
“Stop eating carrots and eat your noodles!”
“You can’t pick someone else’s nose!”
“No interpretative dancing at the dinner table!”
It either speaks volumes about him or my parenting skills. I haven’t decided which.
