…was a while ago. Like, 8 months ago. We had only lived in our house for one month and Neal was so busy finishing up school on top of working and we were all so busy that we didn’t have many friends in the area yet. Poor guy, he had to settle for a family party with a church-buddy-neighbor and parents who don’t eat sweets. But we were glad they came.
He requested an excavator cake. Huh?!? Really? Ya mom!
Yikes. Here is my attempt.
All edible except the cardboard inside the ‘arm’. I just found a pic on the web and went for it. Aedan was thrilled. I think he enjoyed watching me make it more than anything else.
Yes I know, I gave him a tea set. Last time he was at his Great Aunt H’s house they played tea party and he had a blast. I thought it would be fun to get him one but everyone sells girly ones and this was a paint your own set I got at a garage sale new in box. Funny kid decided to leave them white like “mommy’s dishes”. He also got a Transformer’s Bumblebee scooter and books, train stuff, a star wars tent.
But now he is 4 1/2 and with Christmas over he is now planning for his next birthday. Currently Legos are in the running for the theme.
